Ralph Phillips

I trust in God, my family, my employees (extended family), my customers, and my suppliers.  I’m trying to get everyone else to fall into one of these categories.  I am a people person and I have enjoyed the last 33+ years of my life serving one of these categories and for that I say Thank You.  We have built a solid business together.  Thank you also to my new friends, yet to be made customers and suppliers that are viewing this web page.  If you have questions, please contact us. My wife, Dr. Kay Phillips, is the Executive Director for Dorchester County Children in Crisis.  Last year the center served over 900 children in need from all over the lowcountry. After spending 10 years in management with Lowes, I joined Santee Industrial Products on January 1, 1999.  I have worked in every aspect of our company and my favorite part is problem solving.  In the past 12 years I have been trained in all areas of material handling and look forward to helping you with your motive power requirements.  I have 3 wonderful children and live on James Island.  I enjoy working with a company that truly cares about our employees and customers. I joined the “Santee family” in the fall of 2014 after being a customer for 16 years. Coming from a production background with the pressure of a daily deadline, I knew how important it was for your motive power to be reliable. Santee never disappointed me. Not only are we knowledgeable and dependable, we are a service oriented company. My wife Lisa and I moved here from West Virginia in 1990. We have 2 children – Kelsey a Winthrop graduate and teacher in Chester county, and Victor who is pursuing a career in education as well at the College of Charleston. I love the outdoors! I hunt and fish every chance I get. Mr. Ralph taught me to saltwater fish and loves teaching others. I fish both fresh and salt water with conventional tackle and fly rod. I tie most of my own flies and am blessed to have learned from some of the best!

Cathy Robinson

I have lived in the Lowcountry for the past 35 years.  My parents moved us down here from Ohio in 1979, where we moved to Lake Moultrie so Dad could live out his dreams of fishing.  I have been with Santee Industrial Products for over 10 years, working for Ralph as the Sales and Service Coordinator. I also have 3 years in the forklift business and 10 years in the automotive industry.  I love my job and have made a lot of friends that I have come in contact with over the years. God and family come first in my life.  Me and my husband John have no human children but we do have cats that make up our family.  I love to fish and horseback ride when given the chance.  I consider Ralph and his family an extension of my family.  Thank you for visiting our web site and I would like to hear from you.

Angela Buffett

I am a native of Charleston, SC and I have worked for Santee Industrial Products, Inc. since January of 1998. I live in Summerville with my husband, Jason and my three children. My family and I love the outdoors and enjoy bike riding, gardening, walks in the woods, fishing in the river and playing in the waves at the beach. I have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration w/ emphasis in accounting. I have had a total of 20 yrs of experience in the accounting field, from working at a CPA firm to joining my parents company at Santee Industrial Products, Inc. I handle all of the administrative and accounting needs of the business, and I am happy to answer any questions that you may have as a customer or supplier. I could not ask for a better company to work for or a better boss. Ralph Phillips is one of the nicest people you could meet, he treats all of his employees like family and he never meets a stranger. He truly enjoys his job, always keeps his word and still believes a handshake is a promise to be kept. Ralph considers all of our customers and suppliers to be friends, he will go out of his way to make sure our customers are happy. Santee Industrial Products, Inc. also has very dedicated and highly trained employees, who strive to do the best job for our customers, even if it means being on call after hours.
